For example, in the last 24 hours, there were more than 4000 reports at around 16:00 yesterday, forming a sharp peak in the graph. 

Thus, many players were having the same problem at the same time. Down Detector also tells you the most frequently reported problem, in this case, 71% of the reports were for server connection problems. It also tells you when issues are resolved by EA.
