An official start date for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has not been released. Season 4 is scheduled to end on Nov. 30.

According to the Epic Games website, the current Battle Pass runs until Nov. 30 and the in-game Battle Pass screen also corroborates the Nov. 30 date. However, Epic Games will likely not introduce a new season on a Monday.

Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR said, "a Marvel-related EventFlag just got extended," to Dec. 2. The original end date of that event is Nov. 30. So it is looking like there will be some delays with the release date of Season 5.

A Marvel-related EventFlag just got extended to December 2. It was supposed to end on October 30. (Thanks to @XTigerHyperX for the information!)

This EventFlag activated the In-Game comic which means we could get more pages soon & the season might get extended to December 3!! ?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 Start Date: When is it?

A typical Fortnite season lasts about 10 weeks, although this has not been the case for the past couple seasons. Fortnite Chapter 2 has been subject to delays, and has caused some friction between Epic Games and its Fortnite community.

New seasons are normally released on Tuesdays and Thursdays so if the Season 4 event is delayed until Dec. 3, look to Season 5 to be introduced shortly after that.

With still four weeks until the scheduled event, it is unclear what changes will be coming to Fortnite in Season 5. With Galactus en route to fight with Marvel superheroes, it is fair to anticipate some major shakeups once the dust settles.
