Valheim, which released on Feb. 2, already has a 96% positive review average on Steam, making its reception "Overwhelmingly Positive." On the streaming website, Twitch, it currently holds a record of 127,000 peak viewers, which indicates that the game could continue to increase in popularity in the coming days. The game's universe revolves around Norse mythology and Viking culture. In Valheim, players engage with a dynamic world in which they can craft items, build settlements, battle mythological creatures such as sea serpents and trolls, and explore an expansive environment.

Valheim Xbox One Release Date: Is One Coming?
Iron Gate Studio has yet to provide more information on a potential release for the Xbox One. On the official Valheim FAQ, they state that "there are no plans to release on other platforms as of the time of writing" but also reveal that they "won’t rule out console versions in the future."
Although there is currently no Xbox One version available, players are able to play the game on PC with an Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller. This workaround could satisfy console gamers looking to get their hands on the Valheim experience. There is currently no mention on the official Valheim FAQ of support for PlayStation controllers.
